Straight A’s and Sundaes

"Our students work incredibly hard to achieve this level of academic success."

What better way to celebrate good grades than with a little ice cream?
Straight A’s and Sundaes brought together undergraduate main campus students together who have a 3.9 or higher cumulative GPA.
Hosted by the Office of Student success aims to intentionally recognize and celebrate Utica’s outstanding students for their hard work.
‘At Utica University, we have 188 students who have earned a 3.9 GPA or higher,” explains Dean of Student Success Bethany Samuels. “This requires discipline, perseverance, and sacrifice, and our students work incredibly hard to achieve this level of academic success. Straight A’s and Sundaes is our way of pausing to recognize and celebrate the excellence they bring to our campus every day.”

The event allows Success Coaches to show off their pride in the dedication and academic achievements of their students.
President Stephanie Nesbitt, Provost Ann Damiano, and the University’s Academic Deans were also on hand to celebrate student success.
